Discount Car and Truck Rentals has closed up shop in Corner Brook, but only temporarily.
According to Paul La Lumiere, Discount’s director of operations in Atlantic Canada, the company is in the process of looking for a new location to set up shop in the city.

The vehicle rental business discontinued operations at its location on Maple Valley Road, where it opened in June 2017, as of Aug. 31. That property is owned by the Western Group of Companies.
La Lumiere said there were differences between Discount and the property owner which led to a disruption in the service and that Discount is close to a deal with a new property elsewhere in Corner Brook.
