GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, N.L. – There is a new hand at the helm at the Exploits Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Rob Sills took over from former president of the group Lou Alteen at the annual general meeting April 19. Sills is joined on the executive by Paul Evans as first vice-president, Dave Connors as second vice-president, Renee Veilleux as treasurer, and Kris Spurrell as secretary.
Doug Kelly, Keith Jeans, Lisa Martin, Bruce Andrews, and Rick Moss were named first-year directors, while the ranks of second-year directors have been filled by Charlene Combdon, Brian Barry, Tony Martin, and Roger Martin.
The meeting and dinner played host to two provincial ministers. Local MHA and minister of advanced education and skills Al Hawkins spoke, as did minister of finance Tom Osborne.
