ST. JOHN’S, NL – Oceans Ltd. says it will be making an announcement related to a ground-breaking discovery targeting breast cancer on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
The St. John’s-based company’s main focus is on ocean technology.
For the past 37 years, it has provided environmental services to the oil industry such as marine weather forecasting, iceberg measurement, physical oceanography and environmental biomonitoring.
Most recently, the company has been carrying out research on marine algae.
The announcement will take place at the Spirit of Newfoundland Theatre in St. John’s at 11 a.m. The event is not open to the public due to limited capacity at the venue.
