Blood Donor Clinic
Oct. 26 - Canadian Blood Services will be holding a blood donor clinic at Philadelphia Pentecostal Church. There are 108 appointments to fill. Lewisporte residents are asked to book their appointments today by downloading the GiveBlood app or visit blood.ca.
Annual Craft Fair
Oct. 28 – The Lewisporte Women’s Institute will hold their Annual Craft Fair at the Lewisporte Lions Club from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Vendors wishing to rent tables please call June Hunt at 535-2558 or Marguerite Rumbolt at 535-6095.
Lewisporte and Area 50+ Club
Oct. 26 - We are offering a Water Colour Workshop from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Kin Centre. Cost to club members $20, non-members $25. Supplies included but may need to bring a few miscellaneous items. Call Brenda at 535-2772 for more information. Book fast. Limited spots available.
Oct. 30 – We will host our annual Halloween Party and potluck supper. Doors open at 5 p.m., supper at 6 p.m. at the Kin Center. Members wear a costume to gain free admission. $5 for invited guests and members without costumes. Call Val Taylor for information at 541-4042.

Calypso Craft and Bake Sale
Nov. 7 – The Calypso Craft and Bake Sale will be held at the Kin Centre from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Admission includes soup, sandwiches and dessert. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Anyone wishing to donate goods can drop them off at Calypso on or before Nov. 6.
