The Guy family recently made a donation to the Harmsworth Public Library in memory of sister and daughter Jocelyn Guy.
“Reading was everything to her,” said Darlene Sullivan, Jocelyn Guy’s sister. “She brought my daughter down to the library when she was only two, and from that day on she loved the library and still reads today.”
Sullivan said the family has donated in their father’s memory in the past, and wanted to do something special for Jocelyn as the library and reading were her passions.
The $500-donation will help the library purchase inspirational books in large print to aid the visually impaired.
