Grand Falls-Windsor - Art Ex Festival Corporation is presenting their Fine Arts and Crafts Expo at the Gordon Pinsent Centre for the Arts in Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday, October 26th from 12-9 pm and Saturday, October 27th from 10 am to 5 pm. There will be a variety of merchandise from provincial Craft Producers. Admission is by donation, and the proceeds from this event will be used to finance and subsidize art workshops in this area.
BEYOND THE OVERPASS
Gander - Beyond The Overpass young artists present an evening of comedy improv and musical theatre performances - Halloween themed! This is a fundraiser for Beyond's youth arts programming. Admission is by donation. The evening starts at 7 p.m. at St. Martin's Hall on Airport Boulevard. There will also be a bake sale and silent auction.
SCOUTS HAUNTED TRAIL
Grand Falls-Windsor – The fifth annual year 4th Grand Falls Scouts Haunted Trail will take place from 4-6 p.m. (not scary) and 7-10 p.m. (scary). Admission is $4 per person. It starts at Sanger Park and ends at Gorge Park where there will be a barbecue with treats for sale and a fire.
ZOMBIE WALK 2018
Grand Falls-Windsor – The Classic Theatre presents the 2018 Zombie Walk. Zombie make-up station provided by The Northcliff Drama Company from 11 a.m.-1:15 p.m. (first come first serve). A $5 donation to the theatre group for make-up application. Leaving the Goodyear Avenue field at 1:30 p.m. heading towards High Street to end at the Classic Theatre where there will be a free movie screening of Monster Family. Admission to the walk is free however donations to the food bank (monetary and non-perishable food items) will be greatly accepted.
Gander - RCW will hold a card game on at 8 p.m. at the McCarthy Centre. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.

Gander - The Drunk Driver Alert Program encourages people to report known or suspected drunk drivers in time to avert needless injury or death. Anyone who suspects a driver may be impaired is asked to call the RCMP immediately at 256-6841, giving their location and a description of the suspect vehicle, including make, model, colour and license number, if possible, as well as the direction of travel and a description of the driver.
