Top News ranks Twillingate among Canada’s best lakefront and coastal towns

TWILLINGATE, N.L. – Twillingate has made the TravelBlog’s list of top lakefront and coastal towns in Canada.

Writer Jennifer Cuellar ranked the town sixth in an article published on the website on July 12.

In order, she selected Grand Bend, Ont., Long Point, Ont., Wasaga Beach, Ont., Grand Beach, Man., Cavendish, P.E.I., Twillingate, N.L., Chester, N.S., Nanaimo, B.C., Prince Rupert, B.C., and Salt Spring Island, B.C.

“If all you know about Twillingate, Newfoundland and Labrador, is icebergs, you’re missing out!” Cuellar writes, referencing the town’s rocky beaches and whale-watching areas as other attractions.
