BOTWOOD, NL — Another card was pulled from the deck at the Legion Hall in Botwood tonight, but it wasn't the Ace.

Jacqueline Jewer Regular still walked away with a decent prize — $3,692 for the consolation prize — and the more than 500 people who bought tickets for a chance to pull from the deck, have another chance to go after the big prize next Wednesday night.

The jackpot for the Dec. 13 Chase the Ace is now at $30,851 with six cards left in the deck.

Come next week, he said, they will also be using the Lions Club facility for overflow, as the crowds grow larger.

The other winner tongiht was the person who held the winning ticket for the 50/50 draw. That ticket holder claimed a prize of $5,069.
