ST. JOHN’S, NL – Mike Perry is one of eight Newfoundlanders and Labradorians being recognized for acts of bravery by the St. John Ambulance today, May 24.

According to a news release from the organization, Perry, teaming up with others, performed CPR on a woman during a snow storm in Grand Falls-Windsor last year. The woman had lost consciousness and wasn’t breathing. The group continued their efforts until EMS arrived at the scene.

Perry will receive a life-saving award during a ceremony at the Anglican Cathedral in St. John’s this afternoon.
