BENTON, N.L. — The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner’s investigation into the death of a 33-year-old St. John’s man near Benton continues.
On the evening of Feb. 15, Gander RCMP were advised of a single all-terrain vehicle roll-over collision had occurred in the area of Gull Pond, a cabin area near Benton. The man was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
Due to the remote location, Search and Rescue 103 Squadron from Gander transported the man’s body out using a helicopter.
