CORNER BROOK, N.L. — A day after catching a driver going 152 km/h on the Trans Canada Highway near Corner Brook, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary pinched another four speeders last night.
Around 9:20 p.m., a 37-year-old man from Nova Scotia was caught traveling at a speed of 150 km/h on the TCH near Watson’s Pond.
Not long after, RNC officers stopped a vehicle near the Riverside Drive exit after observing it going 130 km/h. The driver was a 40-year-old woman from Howley on the province’s west coast.
About 30 minutes later, a 20-year-old man from Corner Brook was pulled over after being caught speeding at 150 km/h, again, near the Riverside Drive exit.
Finally, just before midnight, an 18-year-old from Corner Brook was recorded traveling at 132 km/h near Riverside Drive.
All four drivers were issued fines.
