The forecast didn't look great Monday as Gander was set to finish its Festival of Flight celebrations with Gander Day, but the rains held off and people were able to take advantage of the clear day.
And the sun even came out.
Hundreds of people hit Cobb's Pond Rotary Park to catch one of a number of musical acts comprised of mostly local talent, as well as get their face painted, bounce in the bouncey castle and check out a number of different food vendors.
