GANDER, NL – As a result of an ongoing investigation, on the evening of Nov. 20 Gander RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence in Gander.
According to the RCMP, quantities of prescription medication, cannabis marijuana and resin, methamphetamines, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cellphones were seized.
The police say they also seized a property, which may have been stolen.
A 39-year-old and a 59-year-old were arrested at the scene.
They were not formally charged, but are scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 18, 2018.
Police say the matter is still under investigation.
