GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, NL – Criminals have kept the RCMP in Grand Falls-Windsor on their toes of late.
According to police, over the course of 30 days recently, there were 25 break and enters and 21 thefts reported to the detachment.
The RCMP is reminding residents and business owners that taking some proactive steps can help safeguard property and prevent crime.
For instance, valuables and car and residential keys should never be left inside a vehicle.
As well, residential and business alarms should be used where equipped and key holder information should be updated for alarm users.
