Grand Falls-Windsor woman arrested following armed robbery

GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, N.L. — A 29-year-old woman from Grand Falls-Windsor, will appear in provincial court today (Feb. 18), facing armed robbery charges.

The Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP responded to an armed robbery at Kelly’s Corner Convenience at 7:20 p.m., Feb. 17, after a woman entered the store, holding a knife, and demanded money.

The RCMP identified April Hayley as a suspect and she was subsequently arrested.

She also faces charges for possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, as well as numerous breaches of court ordered conditions.
