A new website has been created to keep the public apprised of activities at Government House and share the history of the official residence of the Lieutenant-Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Lt.-Gov. Judy Foote Foote announced the website, www.govhouse.nl.ca, in a news release today, Sept. 14.

The website features news, a calendar of upcoming events and photo galleries of events. There’s also a section explaining the role of Lieutenant-Governor.

Visitors can read about and peruse photos depicting the history of Government House on the website.

It also has information on touring Government House and booking the grounds to have photos taken for wedding and other special occasions.
