RCMP are investigating after a collision on the Bay d'Espoir Highway that left one person dead and one injured the morning of Dec. 4.
"This morning, just before 9:00 a.m., Bay d’Espoir RCMP received a report of an overturned vehicle on Bay d’Espoir Highway near Twillick Brook Bridge," read a release issued around 8 p.m. Dec. 4.
According to the realease, one person died at the scene and another was taken to hospital. An RCMP collision analyst from Traffic Services was dispatched and the investigation is ongoing.
