ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — After being arrested outside Her Majesty’s Penitentiary (HMP) on Forest Road on Wednesday morning and charged with two counts of uttering threats, former HMP inmate Mike Williams — who began protesting outside HMP on March 7 to demand improved conditions inside the prison — has been ordered by the courts to stay away from HMP.

As a result, on Friday he took his protest, with supporters, to the Waterford Hospital, calling for better services for those suffering from mental illnesses.
