GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, N.L. — A 28-year-old man from Bishop's Falls has been charged with impaired driving following a single-vehicle collision in the community on early Saturday morning.
When police arrived at the Main Street collision, they determined the driver was impaired and breath samples at the detachment in Grand Falls-Windsor are alleged to have registered over twice the legal limit.
The driver was also found to have no insurance, no registration and false identification plates.
Police suspended the man’s license and seized and impounded his vehicle.
The man was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 15, 2020.
