RCMP NL to partner with RNC, Shoppers Drug Mart and The Guardian/Hamilton Drugs for a public pill drop

Police and some pharmacies in this province are holding a public pill drop this weekend.

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, RCMP NL will partner with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, Shoppers Drug Mart on the island and The Guardian/Hamilton Drugs in Labrador, to conduct a public pill drop.

 The public is being encouraged to bring in any expired medications, with the labels left intact, to be disposed of in a safe and thorough manner.
