Sheshatshiu, N.L. — A 53-year-old man faces multiple charges after a cocaine trafficking investigation in Sheshatshiu.
On Friday Sheshatshiu RCMP, in conjunction with Labrador District GIS, and Goose Bay Police Dog Services searched a residence in the community and seized a significant amount of cocaine, a large quantity of Canadian currency and ammunition.
Fifty-three-year-old Scott Diamond of Goose Bay was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, trafficking cocaine, and contravention of a lifetime weapons prohibition.
Diamond is in police custody awaiting a court appearance.
