Grand Falls-Windsor is hosting its 7th annual Red Shoe Walk for Ronald McDonald House on Sept. 21.
The event is being held at Papa's Sweet Shop on Main Street in the community. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. and the walk will commence after that at 11 a.m.
Along with the walk, there will be face painting, balloon animals, a barbeque, a bouncey castle and other things for people to celebrate with.
The walk is in aid of the Ronald McDonald House the the Ronald McDonald House Charities Newfoundland and Labrador. The money raised will go toward maintaining the house that is in St. John's and give families who need it a comfortable place to stay.
