ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary disarmed and arrested a 24-year-old man carrying a “weapon dangerous to the public” in Kilbride early Thursday morning.
At 7:40 a.m., officers responded to a report of a man acting suspiciously in the area. Police do not specify what kind of weapon the accused was carrying.
He was set to appear before a provincial court judge on Thursday answering to charges of causing a disturbance, uttering threats, the dangerous weapon charge, resisting arrest and breaching a court order.
