GLOVERTOWN, N.L. — A Salvage man has been charged with refusing to provide breath samples after he was pulled over by police on Monday, March 4.
According to a RCMP new release, Glovertown RCMP were patrolling between Eastport and Salvage at around 1 p.m. when a vehicle was observed speeding.
After stopping the vehicle, the 58-year-old was arrested for impaired driving and brought back to the detachment where he failed to give samples of his breath for testing.
As a result, the man’s vehicle was seized and impounded and his driver’s licence was suspended.
He has a court date set for June 4.
