“Shallaway is delighted to travel to Grand Falls Windsor with our Jubilate Ensemble,” said Jennifer Hart, Associate Conductor and Accompanist. “Our Jubilate choristers are a vibrant group who are developing skills and confidence through a more challenging repertoire. Touring various parts of our province not only provides the children with a unique musical opportunity, but also allows our performers to experience the rich culture of Newfoundland and Labrador.”

As part of their local tour stop, the Jubilate Ensemble will be performing for seniors on June 4 at the Twin Tower Manor.

Additionally, the Ensemble will be delivering a public performance with members of both the Exploits Valley High and Exploits Valley Intermediate choirs at 7 p.m. on Sat., June 3 at Memorial United Church.

Tickets for this performance can be purchased online by visiting www.shallaway.ca.

The Jubilate Ensemble is the intermediate ensemble of Shallaway, with members ranging from 11 to 14 years old. With guidance from faculty and mentorship from older choristers, members achieve Shallaway’s mandate by promoting, preserving, and transmitting the culture of Newfoundland and Labrador through outstanding choral musicianship.
