The courthouse in Corner Brook was closed abruptly this morning due to a possible threat.
Details are scant, but people were evacuated this morning at about 9:30 a.m.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary's K9 unit entered the building but left a short time later.
Police left courthouse at 10:30 a.m. and the building will re-open at 1:30 p.m.
The RNC would not provide details on the nature of the threat.
