Brian Warr of Springdale won the Liberal nomination in the district of Baie Verte–Green Bay.

Although Warr was unavailable for comment, Liberal Party spokesperson Nancy Hollett said the results are shared only with the candidates to give them a sense of how close the contest was.
“Our practice is not to release the numbers,” she said.
Hollett did say the voter turnout was good, as it has been in all rezoned districts where the Liberals have held nominations.
Warr is a long-time businessman who has been living in the area most of his life. He's operated the 106-year-old family-owned hardware business for the past 28 years.
“I am 100 per cent committed to anything I start," Warr said during the campaign.
"I am eager for the challenge.”
