A steady dose of snow hit central Newfoundland Friday.
It started earlier this morning and is scheduled to continue into this evening. According to Environment Canada, the area was expected to get upwards to 10 centimetres of snowfall over the course of the day.
That is expected to turn to rain heading into the evening and overnight. By Saturday afternoon there is expected to be an accumulation of up to 30 millimetres
That forecast has meant a slushy day on the roads for motorists.
