Main 649 prize goes to Ontario ticket holder

The top Lotto 649 prize of $5 million was taken by a ticket purchased in Ontario as was the main guaranteed prize of $1 million.

No one came up with the six digits in the Tag, but someone in Corner Brook, and another person in St. Anthony won $1,000 with five out of six numbers.

The winning number in the Atlantic 49 main draw was purchased in Halifax.
