Man arrested for attempted bank fraud, identity theft in St. John’s

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — A 29-year-old man will answer to fraud charges before a provincial court judge in St. John’s this morning.

Wednesday morning, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers were called to a centre city bank on a report of fraud in progress.

Their investigation resulted in charges of fraud, uttering a forged document, identity theft, identity fraud, and resisting arrest.
