Man arrested for break-in at Elks Club in Grand Falls-Windsor

GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, N.L. – The RCMP responded to a break and enter in progress at the Elks Club on Beaumont Avenue in Grand Falls-Windsor at 12:30 a.m. this morning, July 18.

RCMP police dog services was brought in to search the building but found no one there.

A short time later, however, police arrested a 38-year-old man from Grand Falls-Windsor, according to a RCMP release.

The man is scheduled to appear in Grand Falls-Windsor Provincial Court this afternoon.

He is being charged with break and enter with intent, as well as two counts of breach of an undertaking and one charge of breach of a recognizance.
