ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — A tank of gas is just a little bit cheaper today after the Public Utilities Board dropped the price per litre by a modest .6 cents.

Meanwhile, it’s a shade more expensive if you’re driving a diesel-fuelled rig, with the cents per litre (cpl) price climbing 1.6 cents.

Also on the rise are furnace oil and stove oil, both by 1.06 cpl. Propane is down one cent per litre.

The next scheduled price adjustment is Thursday, Aug. 29.
