The province’s House of Assembly launched a new website this week, its first major redesign in a decade.
One of the biggest changes people will notice is the adaptive design for mobile devices.
Improvements were also made to make content easier to find. Additional content, including education videos, have been added as well.
Information such as webcasts and Hansards of House proceedings, progress of bills, tabled documents, MHA biographies, contact information and expense reports are all still available on the website as well.
The House of Assembly’s website has been critical in establishing, among other things, high standards of transparency and accountability, a provincial government news release stated.
The website can still be accessed at the same address as before – www.assembly.nl.ca.
