Overnight snowmobile accident in Goulds sends man to hospital

A snowmobile accident in the Goulds sent one man to hospital early Thursday morning.

The incident happened a distance away from the Robert E. Howlett highway just before midnight Wednesday and it appears the victim was brought back to the highway by another snowmobiler. There they met first responders who then placed him aboard an Eastern Health ambulance to be transported to hospital.

The circumstances around the accident were unclear but the man’s injuries were not considered serious.
