On Saturday, members of the 14th class to complete the Police Studies Program at Memorial University were officially sworn in as recruit constables of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC). 

The Lieutenant Governor Cadet of the Year and valedictorian was Jessica Cole.

In the graduation’s concluding remarks, RNC Chief Joe Boland called the newly awarded breast shields symbols of integrity and public trust.
