Police seek witnesses to fatal roll-over on Route 100

A 50-year-old Point Lance man is dead after a single-vehicle rollover on Route 100 between St. Bride’s and Branch Friday night.

Placentia Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) got the call shortly after 8 p.m. Friday night.

RCMP officers from both Placentia and Whitbourne responded.

The driver and lone occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
