PUB adjusts Newfoundland and Labrador fuel prices

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The Public Utilities Board dropped the price of a litre of gas by 1.3 cents today. 

For folks on the Avalon, the max price for a litre of gas is now $1.24. The high watermark in the province comes in Labrador Sout-Lodge Bay/Cartwright at $1.40 

Diesel fuel, meanwhile, increased by 1.8 cents per litre (cpl) for island customers but dropped by 2.3 cpl for Labradorians.

Furnace oil is down .09 cpl, stove oil is up .08 and propane saw the week's biggest jump at 3.5. 

The next scheduled price update comes Oct. 10.
