SALMON COVE, N.L. — Harbour Grace RCMP arrested a man this morning at the United Church cemetery in Salmon Cove.
In a news release issued just before 10 a.m., police said there is no risk to public safety and the investigation is continuing.

Harbour Grace RCMP has arrested a man at the United Church cemetery in Salmon Cove. There is no risk to public safety and the investigation is continuing.
Prior to the arrest, Harbour Grace RCMP had issued a public advisory for people to stay away from the cemetery which is on John William Drive in Salmon Cove. Police asked the public to avoid the entire area of Main Street East between John William Drive and Parsons Hill.
