MARYSTOWN, N.L. — A 19-year-old Marystown man was fined and had his driver’s licence suspended on Wednesday, June 5.
Burin Peninsula RCMP were patrolling Route 210 near Creston North when a vehicle was observed speeding excessively at around 10:30 p.m.
The man was ticketed under the Highway Traffic Act for driving more than 51 kilometres an hour over the speed limit and for having no insurance on the vehicle.
His vehicle was also seized.
