ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has formally charged Matthew Twyne with committing an indecent act earlier this month near Long Pond in St. John's.
Twyne has been in custody since being arrested for breaching the court orders of his release from prison this month following a two-and a half year sentence. At the time of his arrest, police were investigating reports of an indecent act.
The 33-year-old will answer to the new charge during a court appearance via video from Her Majesty's Penitentiary this morning at 11 a.m.
