Two people were sent to hospital Tuesday night following a moose-vehicle collision on the Trans-Canada Highway near Butter Pot Park.
The crash happened in the eastbound lane just east of the park and left the car with moderate damage.
The injured moose was still on scene and had to be euthanized by an RCMP officer.
Eastbound traffic was down to one lane as emergency personnel dealt with the incident.
The injuries to the two victims were not considered serious.
