Last evening at approximately 7 p.m. a member was looking out the window of the Detachment when he observed a vehicle pull into a store parking lot located across the road, a press release stated this morning.
The police officer noted the driver get out of her vehicle and stumble across the parking lot.
The 36-year-old woman was arrested and gave breath samples almost four times the legal limit.
The woman was released later once sober and in the care of a responsible adult.
Impaired driving injures and kills, the police press release added. The RCMP remain vigilant in apprehending and charging those who drive while impaired.
