GANDER, NL – A routine trip to her go-to Tim Hortons stop in Gander turned out to be quite the Valentine’s Day surprise for Lisa Feltham.
On Feb. 14, the Gander resident picked up her usual medium tea – she’s not a coffee person – and later found out she had won a 2018 Honda Civic Sedan EX-T, the grand prize in this year’s RRRoll Up the Rim contest.
It was one of 50 cars given away in the contest, and it’s the second time in two years the 104 Trans-Canada Highway Tim Hortons location has produced a car-winning cup.

According to rolluptherim.com, Feltham won one of the six available Honda Civics in the Atlantic Provinces, which had a cup distribution of nearly 25 million.
“I was at home, sitting on the couch drinking my tea, and when I rolled up my cup, there it was,” she said, “Civic.”
“I had to look at it six times before I believed it,” adding it was followed by a happy dance.
Feltham received a car on March 19 at the Tim Hortons location at 104 Trans-Canada Highway in Gander.
However, it wasn’t the one she’ll be taking home. Feltham has decided to swap it out for another colour, blue.
“It’s beyond exciting,” she said.
