A twenty-four-year-old woman has died as the result of a two-vehicle collision on the Trans-Canada highway near Adeytown Friday night say the RCMP. She was the lone occupant of a westbound vehicle that collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the eastbound vehicle was taken to hospital in Clarenville with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The collision occurred just before 6 p.m. and shut down the highway for several hours as a traffic analyst from the RCMP investigated the incident.
