VIDEO: Unlicensed, uninsured motorcyclist caught driving 100 km/h over speed limit in St. John’s

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary stopped a motorcycle traveling at 180 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on the Team Gushue Highway Sunday evening.

The 26-year-old male driver was found to have no insurance for the vehicle, nor did he have the proper license to drive a motorcycle.

RNC impounded the vehicle and issued fines to the driver.

St. John's resident Brandon Rennie capture video of the motorcycle flying past him just after both turned onto the Team Gushue Highway in Mount Pearl.

By the time Rennie had reached the Brier Avenue exit, the driver had been stopped by RNC officers in front of Pennyhill Condominiums.
