Angus Evans — Botwood

Passed peacefully away June 3, 2018, Angus Owen Edward Evans at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre. Mr. Evans (Angus) Retired from Abitibi Price – Woodland Division and was a lifetime member of the Botwood Lions Club. Predeceased by his father Jabez Evans, mother Mary (Oake), Brothers Harry and his wife Ethel (Langdon), and Edward. Left to mourn are wife Marion Doris Evans (Waterman); sons Edward George (Gloria (Lolly) Evans and Clifford (Tip) Owen (Pat Wiens) Evans; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. James Martin Carter conducted the funeral service at Trinity United Church in Botwood on Thursday June 7, 2018. Interment was at Evans Point Lane Cemetery, Northern Arm.
