Obituary Eli Kean It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eli Kean age 94 of Valleyfield, NL. who joined the angels on Thursday March 29, 2018. A very strong, honest, hardworking man with a wonderful sense of humor, Eli has left a beautiful memory to all that knew him. Predeceased by his loving wife Ivy Kean; his parents Daniel and Annie Kean; sons-in-law Roy Richards and Roy Hunt; cousin Ralph White and great-granddaughter Anna Anglehart. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son Wilson(Sandra); his daughters Gertrude, Leah, Christine and Karen(Lawrence); his grandchildren Jordan, Ivy, Geoffrey, Lori, Anne, Chrissy, Michelle, Michael, Mitchell and Micaela; his 12 great-grandchildren Ivy Jade, Ryan, Gabriella, Jaxson, Ella, Chloe, Luke, Owen, Eli, Martin, Maverick and Haley. The family would like to thank the wonderful home support workers from Rosemore Homecare Services who always gave him the most amazing care and treated him like their own. Also thank you to Eli’s wonderful and devoted nephew, Hubert White for always coming by to see him and to say a prayer. Funeral service took place at Memorial United Church, Valleyfield on Monday, April 2, 2018 with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment followed at The United Church Cemetery, Valleyfield. As an expression of sympathy donations in Eli’s memory may be made to Memorial United Church, Valleyfield. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.
