Obituary Gillingham With a heartfelt goodbye Ivan Gillingham left his earthly home March 1, 2016 at age 90 with his heartstring Katie of 65 years, his four boys Wayne, Navin, Gurrin, Wayde and four girls Norma , Rhonda, Trudy, Donna and their spouses, grandchildren, and great grandchildren by his side. He lived a blessed and full life. Ivan had a gentle spirit, a sweet smile, a cup of tea for all who visited and a heavy dose of laughter. His love of creation was evident in how much time he spent in the outdoors hunting, fishing and picking berries. He had skilled hands and his abilities knew no boundaries. His heart was God centered. His testimony was in his daily living and for those who knew him, the constant message was "Ivan is the same today, as the first day I met him". He was affectionately known as Sweetheart, Precious, Daddy, Old Man, Skipper, Pop, Big Pop, and Old Pop. You will never be more than a heartbeat away. Until we meet again….BANG!!! Funeral services was held at Riverside Pentecostal Church, Glenwood on March 3rd 2016. Interment Pentecostal Cemetery, Glenwood. Arrangements entrusted to Stacey's Funeral Home Gander - Carmanville.
