Jackeline King

Jackeline King
Obituary Jaqueline Mae King Jaqueline Mae King suddenly and unexpectedly passed away at her home in Halifax on Thursday Nov 30, 2017 at the age of 71. Her niece Kristie-Ann was by her side at her moment of passing. She was born June 5, 1946 in Lytham St Annes of Lancashire, England and was recently predeceased by her younger brother Gerard Gillingham. Jacqui joins her beloved husband and soulmate, John (Jack) King, her twin children Jamie and Joni, and her parents. Jacqui was a woman of strength with an unshakable Christian faith. Her sense of humor brightened even the saddest of days and her ability to say a quick-witted phrase made it impossible to be unhappy in her presence. Her words of wisdom in times of confusion and constant encouragement in times of uncertainty will forever touch our hearts and souls. Jacqui leaves behind her loving children, Jonita (Jeff) Forbes and John-Paul (Laura) King, nieces Kristie-Ann Kirsch, Isabella Gillingham, and Jessica Hope, nephews John Gillingham and Ross Hope, sister-in-law Katherine Gillingham, step-children Melita Willcott, Richard King, Donna Willcott, and Elizabeth Benoit, and “Grammy J’s” precious grandson Jack King. The friends, brothers and sisters of faith whose lives she touched are innumerable. A private visitation will take place in Halifax, NS. A joint celebration of life will be had for Jacqui and Gerard in Newfoundland during summer 2018, dates to be announced. Funeral service to be held for Jacqui at Christ Church in Milltown.
