HAXTON, Joan (Nee: Russell) - Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the age of 67. Beloved mother of Tim (Leanne) Haxton. Loving grandmother of Jessica and Kyle. Caring sister of Marie, Rex, Nellie, Vivian, Derek and John. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Pearce and Maria Russell. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date in Lewisporte, NL. Arrangements entrusted to Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls.
